Getting started using TheSurfNetwork on your Chromecast connected TV
Using TheSurfNetwork on a Chromecast connected TV is relatively easy.
Playback is initiated on either your computer or mobile device and then "casted" to your Chromecast.
TheSurfNetwork app for iPhone and iPad
- Tap the Cast icon in the upper right hand corner of video detail screen
- Select desired Chromecast device from list, return to detail screen
- Tap Watch Now
- Video will begin to play on Chromecast connected to your TV
- Control playback using iOS device
Chrome browser computer
- Click Watch Now
- Tap the Cast icon in your in video player
- Select desired Chromecast device from list
- Video will begin to play on Chromecast connected to your TV
- Control playback using video player in web browser
Chrome browser Android device
- Tap Watch Now
- Tap the Cast icon in video player
- Select desired Chromecast device from list
- Video will begin to play on Chromecast connected to your TV
- Control playback using Android device
Supported Android Devices
We are currently supporting Android smartphones and tablets with OS versions 4.0 and above using latest version of Chrome browser.
Supported iOS Devices
Chromecast is supported on all iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch) that can run current version of the TheSurfNetwork for iPhone and iPad app available in the App Store.
