The world's best big-wave surfers are summoned by one of the world's biggest surf breaks and by Jeff Clark, the man who surfed it alone for 15 years. They are called to compete against each other, the frigid cold water, the jagged rocks, the half-mile paddle out and massive waves that show no mercy. When Mavericks goes off it can take your life, or make you a living legend.
