Perilous waves, horrendous wipeouts and a perfect ride mark the 2006 Mavericks Surf Contest. On 24 hours notice, 24 of the world's best big-wave warriors convene in Half Moon Bay, California to do battle with the merciless waves, fridgid waters, ragged rocks and each other. When Mavericks goes off, it can make you a living legend.
