Episode Summary
In surfing lineage there are only a few surfers who transcend the sport. Like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods these athletes are untouched by their peers. Joel Tudor is one of these people. Tudor can only be compared to the great legends in surfing. He is dominating in the competitive longboard arena, his shortboard skills are world class and his knowledge of surf history is unmatched in his generation. In 1998 Joel won the World Longboard Championship in the Canary Islands, solidifying his reputation among his peers and sliding his way into surfing's record books. After his title win, Tudor refocused his energy on his evolution and has further refined what makes him a style master.
