Search for Surf
Greg Noll made a number of films when he wasn't out there surfing, and here he collaborates with Brown to rekindle the memories. Featured: Noll in his teens, Buffalo surfing Makaha, great people shots from the old Makaha Internationals, Pat Curren roasting a duck, and Noll's guts-out ride on Pipeline's second reef in 1964. A lot of old footage looks ridiculous to the modern surfer; Noll's attempt looks just as hairy as it did then.
