Downloading made simple, using technology built into iTunes we have pioneered a process that allows for your purchases made on our site to download automagically into a personalized download feed inside of your iTunes library. Any time you make a subsequent purchase from our site, those items become available for download inside of that feed.
Our downloads are encoded using the H.264/MPEG-4 AVC standard making them compatible for playback on your PC or MAC within iTunes, where they can be synced for playback with a video iPod or an Apple TV along with a host of other consumer electronic devices.
This flexibility to watch our content where you want is a direct result of our standards based file encoding opposed to proprietary restrictive rights managed technologies you may find with other services. |

I don't have an iPod, so why would I want to purchase one of these videos? |

Duh Wilbur, you don't need an iPod to watch our videos. All you need is iTunes version 7.1 or higher. Why iTunes you ask? Quite simple really, iTunes is the only desktop media player application with over 118 million users worldwide who have the proclivity to make legal downloads. |

Can I use a dial-up modem or do I need a cable modem or DSL? |
|

The rule of thumb is the faster the better. We highly recommend the use of a broadband internet connection such as DSL or cable. You can download videos from TheSurfNetwork.com on a dial-up modem, but it may take about 24 hours or more for one video. On a cable modem or DSL it typically takes between 5 minutes to a half-hour to download a video.
Please note: we do not recommend downloading on a dial-up modem.

After your order has been processed on our site the iTunes application will automatically launch and begin downloading your latest purchase. If your most recent purchase(s) are not showing up in this list, press the refresh botton inside iTunes, as this will refresh your feed and begin downloading the newest item.

By default you can use iTunes.
You may also watch your purchases in any player that supports MPEG-4 H.264 video. We recommend using the built in player within iTunes or the latest version of Quicktime, which is of course available for free on both the Windows and Macintosh platforms.
It is also possible to watch these videos on your iPod, iPhone and Apple TV, as well as host of other consumer electronic devices.

The best and easiest way to enjoy your downloads on a TV is with Apple's new product, the Apple TV.
If you are able to connect your computer to your television, or if you have a home networking device that bridges your computer's video output to your TV. Many laptops have an S-Video or composite RCA video output which can be connected to a TV. Read the manual for your PC for information on outputting video signals to your TV.

TheSurfNetwork.com does not support DVD burning for DVD-Video playback, as your video purchases are not intended to be DVD releases. We encourage the backing up of your purchases so long as they are solely for personal, noncommercial use. All purchases are subject to the Terms of Service. |

There are substantial costs associated with launching and maintaining this service, and its future viability depends on honest participation. Why is the video I just purchased is not showing up in my personalized purchases feed within iTunes? |
|
|
There are a couple reasons why the video you purchased is not listed. First, press the "refresh" button in the lower right hand corner of iTunes. This will refresh your purchases list and should reveal your new video purchase. The other reason your video may be missing is that the transaction did not go through. You can either try to purchase again or you can contact us to investigate.
